I’m a big fan of cooking with chopsticks. Being Chinese, I learned to use chopsticks from a very early age. It was just something that was drilled into me as most of the dishes I ate growing up weren’t served in the traditional western style of having your own portion served to you on your own plate. Typical Chinese meals consist of several main dishes in the centre of the table and everyone has their own portion of rice in their own bowl. You will use your chopsticks to take the noodles, meat, fish and vegetables from the main serving dishes and put them in your own rice bowl. It’s a bit like tapas but you’ve got much bigger portions. If you’ve ever tried dim sum in a Chinese restaurant, you’ll know what I mean.
In this post, I’m going to explain how to make some fresh lasagne sheets from scratch. You only need 2 basic ingredients to make this very simple and easy lasagne sheets recipe. I used it recently in my homemade lasagne, you can check out my beef lasagne recipe here.

In this post, I’m going to explain how to make my easy beef lasagne recipe. I’m a big fan of Italian food and one of my favourite dishes is lasagne. It’s quick and simple to make and comes out delicious each time. I’ve experimented with the lasagne recipe below, using my own home made lasagne or pasta sheets for it and it’s simply delicious. It takes a bit of extra time but is well worth it. Some supermarkets do make the fresh lasagne sheets which are worth a try as well if you’re stuck for time or do not have access to a pasta roller. Here is my pasta dough recipe or try my fresh lasagne sheets recipe if you’re interested in trying it. I’ve also tried my own white sauce which again is very easy to make and tastes delicious. If you don’t have time to make the pasta sheets or the white sauce, then I’d recommend you go ahead with fresh pasta sheets and white sauce from a jar. Continue reading
