In this post, I’m going to explain how to make my easy beef lasagne recipe. I’m a big fan of Italian food and one of my favourite dishes is lasagne. It’s quick and simple to make and comes out delicious each time. I’ve experimented with the lasagne recipe below, using my own home made lasagne or pasta sheets for it and it’s simply delicious. It takes a bit of extra time but is well worth it. Some supermarkets do make the fresh lasagne sheets which are worth a try as well if you’re stuck for time or do not have access to a pasta roller. Here is my pasta dough recipe or try my fresh lasagne sheets recipe if you’re interested in trying it. I’ve also tried my own white sauce which again is very easy to make and tastes delicious. If you don’t have time to make the pasta sheets or the white sauce, then I’d recommend you go ahead with fresh pasta sheets and white sauce from a jar.
I love making the different layers of the lasagne and topping it off with a healthy portion of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. My easy beef lasagne cooks in just over 30 minutes in the oven.
The easy beef lasagne recipe below makes a large lasagne for 4 – 6 people. You’ll notice in the recipe below that my lasagne sheets are all different shapes and sizes, this is because I rolled them myself but you can use pre made lasagne sheets if you don’t want to make your own.
